I’m a bit of a Documentary/ Crime show binger. I find it so interesting to watch deep dives into people’s lives and watch it unfold. I feel like documentaries and Crime doc popularity has definitely increased in the last few years – these are five on HULU that just blew my mind!
THE SECRETS OF HILLSONG
This didn’t catch my eye right away but once I started watching it I couldn’t stop. This pastor is kind well known and linked to celebrities such as Justin Bieber. The Cult like following and the tragic downfall of his personal life was a 180 from his sermons he preached to thousands of people.
BETRAYAL – THE PERFECT HUSBAND
This one was definitely interesting. A woman thought she was getting a second chance with her high school sweetheart but later finds out her husband, a high school teacher was doing more than teaching at school.
GOD FORBID
In this revealing documentary it details events of a former pool boy and his 7 year entanglement with a woman who is married and apart of the First Family of America’s Christian right. Watch this kinky sex scandal unfold and how it brought down a dynasty.
THE SECRETS OF PLAYBOY
This docuseries does a deep dive of the Hugh Hefner and the Playboy mansion. Detailed accounts and archived footage of many playmates and even employees of the mansion and the insane things that happened to them behind the mansion walls.
THE ASHLEY MADISON AFFAIR
This was something I heard about years ago which got me excited to watch it. Its about an online site that matched people with others looking to have an affair and how an angry cyber hacker took measure to blackmail the CEO and take down the entire site, just wild!
