Dry brittle hair? TRY THIS TOTAL GAME CHANGER!

Olaplex who?!? To all my dry brittle hair babes there is a new baddie in town!

I’ve tried it all. If it promised to revive my bleach blonde hair I’ve bought it and slathered it down my long locks. Olaplex has been the hype for quite some time now — and honestly I don’t understand it. I had it used on my hair at the Salon one time and the stylist swore by it – stating it was a new treatment out and was only a $45 add on. I thought to myself hey if it helps why not. I do have a cosmetology license and have had one for 13 years now, though I don’t do hair I still try to stay up to date with trends and products. I proceeded to buy Olaplex at the beauty store for professionals and try it at home for a while (which was much cheaper than purchasing it through my salon, at that time only licensed Cosmetologists could purchase it, now you can buy it anywhere it seems).

Then one day scrolling Tik Tok I saw the iconic Alix Earle suggesting K18 Leave-in molecular repair hair mask, as it was used on her at her salon. I went onto Amazon and purchased it right away – click on the link to find it in my Amazon Storefront. I’m unsure if it was the Olaplex treatments or Covid but my hair has become really weak, brittle and dry and I haven’t bleached it in over a year, which is prevalent to the 5 inches of roots I’m rocking. I was skeptical at first because the directions say not to use conditioner and to put this on after towel drying your hair.

After three uses I have thrown all the half used Olaplex bottles I had laying around in the trash. My hair is finally starting to look better, I have less breakage and it doesn’t tangle as bad. I feel like it has more of an effect than Olaplex, in less uses. Have you tried it?!?! Comment below and let me know what you think!
